I guess canadians appriciate "bathtubing" just as much as swedes do. (cold weather and stuff).

Im sorry Monika. :hugs: I think he is still around watching you, and wanting things to go well for you. I have a feeling that is what my grandparents are doing. Are you living with your mother?
.. I like talking to you, so it is nice when you do more than lurking. I was in austria this spring so I was thinking about you then.

I have moments when I feel like I am feeling his presence in some way. Depending on the situaion it can be a bit scary but most of the time it makes me feel very protected. I do live with my mother and don't plan to move away. Right now we are trying to find a house to live in together.....we hope to find one that fulfills our needs until next summer. I know.....I was thinking about you too.

I am a student again, yes. Finding a house that we can afford will probably take some time but we hope to find one til the end of 2010. It's rather expensive where we live because it's very close to Vienna but there are still a lot of green spaces and one can enjoy nature and take walks in the forest for ex. It's a favoured neighborhood. We do not want to move away too far because of the health care for my mother (she has regular appointments and her therapy needs to be monitored) and when I move out in some years I do not want her to be where she has no friends and an environment that does not make her feel at home (esp. since she lost her husband now). So how did you like it? What did you do? *hugs*

I know I saw Karl's and Stefan's Kirche and the City hall. The City hall is very spectacular at night. But they had put a circus in front of it for some reason. I was also at the Sacher cake at a cafe that I think is famous for serving them. I also tried your wiener schnitzel and dumplings. On Wednesday we traveled over to Maastrich, Netherlands for another meeting. What is your favorite thing to do in Vienna?
We have a film festival in front of the city hall every year. Maybe you were here: www.sacher.com/en-index.htmI like walking around in the really old parks, old cemeteries and I love old buildings/architecture in some streets and esp. some pedestrian areas ....rather boring for most people I guess. Did you already post pictures?

I also saw that they had put up a lot of tents in front of two big museums and they were having a beer festival in front of one as well..
.. and they were renovating everywhere. But that is good because the houses turn so white and pretty afterward.
I don't think it sounds boring at all, I love to walk around and look at things like that too. If I go back to Vienna it would be fun to take a walk with you, in case you want to.
I will put up some pictures later. I used one of my colleges cameras more than mine, because hers are way better so I have to get those pics as well. She works at the other side of town though so it might take a while. But I have some on my camera.
