well.. other languages have more exceptions from the rules normally.. (so that makes english easier to learn)
and
it is a mix of latin and germanic languages.. that makes it easier for both latin speaking.. and germanic language speaking people to learn it.
Im not really sure what he is talking about.
I never understood danish much though..
.. at least not spoken.. If I read it I have no problems.

hmm well I suppose that makes sense my dad just likes to complain about anything american (yes I'm aware english isn't originally american, but it is to him). he's one of those people who's under the impression that everything is better in other countries. and I'm sure some things are, but my dad is just good at complaining in general so I never fully believe anything he complains about.
