I've recently applied at a local Saturn car dealership for an office position. I went in one day and completed an application, and after I was done, I met the man who is in charge of the human resources dept. (Hiring, etc). Well, he said he was pleased to meet me and seemed really intrested in my applying. He also said that he would call the following evening. Well, I shook hands with him and I asked what his name was again. he told me his name, but as soon as I walked out of the dealership, I had totallly forgotton his name (Because of nerves) So, now, I waited for him to call, but he never did (Not a surprise to me). So then I called back the day after he was supposed to, and just asked for the manager. The receptionist told me that he was on the phone, and that she could take a message for him. I told the receptionist that I had applied and I was wondering if anyone had reviewed my application. I also gave her my telephone number and told her to have him call me that evening. Well, he never did and almost 6 days later, I am still wondering if I got the job or not. SO NOW FOR THE QUESTION, do you think that I should call again? Or do you think that 6 days without a phone call means, "Sorry, the jobs taken." I'd like the input! <I hate my previous job, my customers make me feel like SH*T everyday.>

call again, and if that bastard doesn't call you again go down there and demand to see him and ask what the hell is going on. (don't say that exactly, he might not like that.) but i would go down there and just find out what was going on. i couldn't just hang like that.

Im sorry.. ::hug:: On the other hand if you call them one more time and ask polite if you got it.. it shows that you really wanted the job and maybe if they need someone else later they will remember you and have you in mind for that job.
