These are both from this year's Talent Show at my school. The acoustic act wasn't judged, and the band I was in got second place so we get to perform in front of the entire school at an assembly. Our one issue was our mics needed to be turned up to match the volume of the drums/guitar, but we had very little time to do a soundcheck. Before the assembly no doubt we will get a good soundcheck in. I liked the first clip best, you are good at singing.. and you can play too...
In the second vid the sound was a bit unbalanced, as you mentioned, but I liked when you were playing. |

I know. She got to come with me for Christmas break but my mom has cancer and thought she was getting chemo this week so she didn't want to have to entertain more than one person or something. I dunno. Of course turns out she's not having chemo this week. What're you stressed about? |

well.. you see your gf more than your mum I would guess.. so I think you can live with it for some days. right?
It's not bad as far as cancer goes, it's whatever kind of lymphoma is treatable. But it's still painful and sucks and she's lost a lot of weight and aged a lot. She looks all gaunt and has little energy. It's hard to see her like this. Yeah of course I can go a week without seeing her. It just sucks. I hate spending time with my mom all depressed 'cause I miss my girlfriend. That's why it was so awesome when she came down with me, I got both at once. |

I've been as cheery as I can be, I haven't been a total downer or anything. Not ecstatic either, because I can't just get rid of emotions. But somewhere in the middle. And she said she understands, she's felt similarly when in relationships and seperated from the person she loves. Bleh. Thanks for the hugs though, always appreciated. So how's Sweden? |
