I'd like to give Smashing Pumpkins - Siamese Dream to someone. The CD was actually given to me by my older sister's guy friend who I looked up to at the time. I was about 11 or 12. Inside the jacket he left this little note for my that actually meant a lot to me. That CD was the whole reason I got away from the crappy music I was listing to and gave me an appreciation for finer bands. After that music became the most important part of the next five years. So anyway, I'd like to do the same and give it to a kid I like with potential but who's listening to shit.

I would give out The Cures Pornography cd to someone, Maily because I was given that as a birthday gift, and if I remember correctly it was the only gift given to me that has impacted my life somehow. Even if it was in a tiny way.

aww lol
its funny that you give away something that had a huge impact of your own listening.
......... in that case I should give away Debut - Björk .. it was the first cd I ever got.. and I admire Björk not only for her music.. but also for her strength as an individual.

I'd give away my Linkin Park CDs. I don't like them anymore, and I'm quite ashamed to have those CDs... However, they did pull me away from more poppy stuff (but now that I look back they pretty much are pop). To who, I don't know. Some CD store that sells used CDs I guess.

I'm with Redd. Give away all of my crappy CD's. I have too many to name. But, yeah, most were on rotation on MTV on a regular basis.

Even now I would still give away Pornography to someone. =)
If it had to be a most recent song/album I think I would give away Plastic Tree's Replay single. Only because Replay is a beautiful song and the lyrics are very nice once you find the translation for them. <3
