the people just re-rated gta: san andreas adults only. america, land of the free, where we censor video games for having a little bit of sexual content in them.

I mean, I know people were talking about this happening but I didn't think it actually would.

I'm not positive whether or not it was only the pc version or the whole thing that was rerated. peter jenning's fill-in didn't specify. anyway I think that people shouldn't make such a big deal out of sex in video games. oh no, the 156 bit graphics are humping in the background in an inaccesible version of the game unless you specify taht you don't mind nudity in the game. wow, that's sure bad.

What's fuck up is that, if you're right about the reasons, the sex and not the violence was what made them re-rate it. Which is worse?

Which is worse? either way it doesn't deserve to be re-rated. it's just a little sex and violence. it's not gonna make kids actually want to do taht shit. most people don't end up playing it till they're teens anyways. xbox.gamespy.com/xbox/grand-theft-auto-san-andreas/635243p1.htmlthere's a link for the full story.

this is so stupid. to unlock it for the PS2, don't you need to solder something onto your motherboard? i figure if you're old enough to know how to do that, you're probably not going to be influenced by that sex scene.

I blew off a cop's head then ran over of a hooker; that's more than "just a little violence." I'm not one of those people that holds videogames responsible for things like Columbine (although they can desensatize, but so can the evening news), but I don't think children should be exposed to that. But if parents would just wake up and start being more responsible for their own damn children than the government wouldn't have the whole rating shit. But it's funny that with violence being such problem here in America, the thing that pushed them over the edge was some sex which I see as being far less damaging.
