i'll kill myself before i cannot take care of myself... that's a promise i made myself. my worst fear is to be completely immobilized. because then I cant even try to end it.
yeah you can.. you can get one of those wheelchairs that's controled by breathing like what Christopher Reeves had, and drive that into traffic or off a bridge or something.. then again, you can will yourself to die, atleast that's a belief of some people..

I guess I can try to swallow my tounge
.... but Im not sure I would be brave enough to do that.

Danzig plans rarities compilation: "The Lost Tracks of Danzig"Danzig has announced plans for a new compilation of b-sides and rarities. The record is titled "The Lost Tracks of Danzig" and is due out May 29, 2007. All of the tracks were recorded during the band's seven-album "arc" that began with 1988's Danzig. The material is presented in chronological order; the first two cuts are "Pain Like an Animal" and "When Death Had No Name," both songs that have their roots in late Samhain but evolved into two of the very first Danzig tracks and intended for the band's self-titled debut. The album will also feature previously unreleased cover songs including music by T-Rex, David Bowie, and "Caught In My Eye" by the Germs ("Danzig 6"). Also featured in a song Glenn wrote specifically for the late Johnny Cash. 01. Pain Is Like An Animal 02. When Death Had No Name 03. Angel of the Seventh Dawn 04. You Should be Dying 05. RIAA misses the point, attacks label/artist sanctioned leaksTrent Reznor's Nine Inch Nails have undertaken a remarkably clever publicity campaign for their new album, Year Zero. The group has been leaking the songs using everything from a USB drive in a bathroom to cryptic web site URLs delivered on T-shirts. The campaign has recieved rave reviews from most, who describe it as "a new form of entertainment." That is, except for the RIAA, which has begun sending out cease-and-desist notices to fans and websites hosting copies of the leaked songs. One source is described as saying: "These f*cking idiots are going after a campaign that the label signed off on," The entire album is actually streaming online now via the band's official website. One wonders if they too will find themselves on the receiving end of legal threats. The album itself is due out April 17th.

Music retailer condemns RIAA and major labels for decline in CD salesIt seems that now music retailers are starting to point fingers at the RIAA for the recent decline in CD sales. According to a recent editorial posted in the New York Times, some retailers feel that a major factor in the recent sales decrease over the past few years has been the industry itself, and how it chose what music to market to the public, and how it was sold. One of the main points in the article is the decline in the industry's focus on artists that could sell an album. Instead, with the boy band craze and female idols like Britney Spears, the focus was placed on singles, which in turn led people to download the hit single, as the full albums were not enticing. The idea of a single was always to sell an album, but instead, the industry has done the exact opposite. Marketing a song or two from an album full of filler material. To add to the problems, the price of CD's was raised drastically to the point where most consumers would rather download the single illegally or through one of the many pay download sites. Thus almost eliminating the CD single concept, and lowering overall CD sales.

Sean Hannity, Ann Coulter have hurt feelings over Rage Against the Machine rantThe famous rant by Rage Against The Machine's Zach de la Rocha during their recent performance at Coachella has apparently got right-wing pundits talking. According to reports, during their performance lead singer de la Rocha compared Bush administration officials to Nazi war criminals. He went on to say the current team should also be "tried and hung and shot", Bush apologist Ann Coulter describes the band as "anarchists" and their fans as "losers" and Sean Hannity suggested that the secret service should investigate the band. If they think that's bad, someone should let them know about this guy. click here for youtube video

Original DEVOURMENT Vocalist WAYNE KNUPP Passes Away - Sep. 15, 2007
Original DEVOURMENT vocalist Wayne Knupp passed away earlier today due to multiple organ failure that was caused by years of alcohol abuse. His girlfriend Jessica Gant has released the following statement to BLABBERMOUTH.NET:
"First of all, I want to say thank you to everybody who has sent kind words. They are very much appreciated and I told Wayne about everybody who sent him messages.
"Unfortunately the rumors you all heard are true and our dear friend Wayne Knupp has passed away today (September 15) at 2:15 p.m. due to multiple organ failure that was caused by years of alcohol abuse. Wayne spent 2 ½ weeks in the hospital with a lot of people fighting for him. His family and friends played a big role in supporting him during this difficult time.
"As you all know, Wayne was a major supporter and contributor to the death metal scene for most of his life. He remained loyal to his fans and always stayed brutal till the end. Just yesterday he was throwing up the horns! He never turned anybody away and would give the shirt off his back to help if he could.
"Just to let you all know, he did pass away very peacefully with his close family and friends around his bedside. I held his hand as he took his last breath, and the last thing he heard was that we were all there and he wasn't alone.
"For those of you that could not be there the last couple weeks, do not feel any remorse because he knew you all were thinking of him and that is what kept him fighting 'till the very end.
"For any of you, who have thought about starting a fund or having a benefit, please contact me before anything takes place. It is his family's request that nothing take place without their consent. I will keep you all posted about a memorial service for Wayne that will be held up by Chicago in the near future.
"Thank you all for your love and support. It's very comforting in a time like this."
