So me and my pal Otto made our second self-released album, "Diogenes Is Rolling in His Grave" for our rap group Cynicism 323. We gave out around 50 copies, quite a bit less than the 120 we gave out of our first one, but we had less time to do it this album. We released it the last week of school and most of our fanbase is at our school, and the first one had more time to build up popularity, as well as more of them being made by our co-producer Alec, who this time burnt none of the final cd's. Anyways, we have 3 tracks from it up on our myspace ( www.myspace.com/cynicism323 ), and it'd be cool if any of you guys would listen to them and let me know what you think.

yeah we sampled teardrop. I think it's funny when people who are rap fans think we're ripping off some band by sampling from them when in fact every rap artist in the world samples from other music. it's how rap music is made, for the most part.

well yeah we like to sample really unusual stuff. like teardrop, or on "two ill individuals" we use horn samples from a mars volta song. in "exhale" the harmonica is from an episode of "cowboy bebop". then on one we sampled "chim chim chiree" from mary poppins.
