I have read Poe, but it's been a while. Miller, I have read some things. Never heard of Bataille. What style does he/she(sorry I don't know) write?

ive read a lot of poe's prose, and ive read the raven and annabell lee. in english class, our teacher read us annabell lee and then told us to write a poem, so i wrote this really depressive suicidal poem, and i got sent to the pricipal's office and now im in counseling.
