I've read it. Definitely not as good as all the stupid fucking hype about it leads you to believe. But overall, it was alright.

Hype, as in, all the down and out loner kids who praise this book so highly as being one of the best books ever written. Saying how it's "totally their life story", and it's such a great book with insight, blah blah blah. While I did enjoy it, it's like when someone tells you that such-and-such is going to be the best thing you ever experienced, so you're anticipating it with possibly above average expectations...and then it's not all that people make it out to be...no matter how good it is, it's somewhat of a let down. Comprende?

Comprende? i never knew about there being hype. i got the book for free and had never heard of it before. i liked it a lot, so i told other people to read it. that's all.

I read it...partly because of all teh hype surrounding it...not exactly "my life story" but I did relate to it alot, esp. parts like this "I don't know how much longer I can keep going without a friend. I used to be able to do it very easily, but that was before I knew what having a friend was like. It's much easier not to know things sometimes." it depresses the fuck out of me to read it though
