I read them all in third and fourth grade. They ruled...except for Prince Caspian and The Last Battle, those two sucked. The best two were Silver Chair and The Voyage of the Dawn Treader. They were all written in the 1950s; The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe takes place during WWII.
