I'm reading the bible again (as a preparation for my studies, I need to pass a test in the very first days and this test will most likely feature art portraying scenes/stories from the bible) I still havnt read the bible..
I should... it increase my general knowledge in religion...
I also want to read the koran.. and some other holy scripts
I just never feel I have time ;D

yup. and they grabbed my attention. eye of the world didn't I hated the first 100 pages in lotr and bilbo
then it got very interesting
same thing with the wheel of time... but those 100 pages are just background information to help one understand what the hell is happening in the rest of the book

Frank Herbert the sci-fi channel made his first 3 books into two 6 hour mini-series. it was good. close to the book. there was a lot of stuff they left out but it was still closer than the original dune movie. Frank Herbert's Dune (self titled from the first book) Frank Herbert's Children Of Dune (first 3 hours from Dune Messiah and the last 3 self titled from the 3rd book)
