I think it is time to start boycott Israel in the same fashion most parts of the world did with South Africa during the apartheid system.
What they did yesterday is just one of an endless stream or more or less serious violations on human rights in their area.
;D

Nah, it's not a human rights violation. Palestinians aren't people, after all.
But being serious now, the U.S. won't put any pressure on Israel because both are in bed together. I really hope the EU and other nations tell Israel to stop warmongering and to stop oppressing people. Israel claims they're blockading Gaza to stop the Hamas, so they're going after an entire area full of uninvolved people? Shit, if I was your average Palestinian, and then Israel starts oppressing me, I'd might consider working for the Hamas. Do they realize they're making it worse?

Do they realize they're making it worse? One would think so.. but apparently not. ;D
..I think in a way (for at least a part of the population, in particular the fanatics), it makes it easier.. if someone is "violent" they can "justify" the over violence they use..
but attacking and killing peace activists on international water... wow.. there they stepped over a new line..
Ive heard interviews with some of the Swedish journalists/writers that were on board.. according to them no one used violence.. no weapons were on board (they found a razor....) .. and what disgust me even more in a way is that it was clear that they have studied the faces on the people on the boats in order to not "accidentally" kill someone more "internationally important" like a Swedish christian journalist etc. Killing Muslim Turks seem ok though..
Lovely. ;D

Yeah, as long as Israel has the backing of the United States, they'll keep behaving like this because they know we'll attack anyone that fucks with them (or rather, they fuck with and then that nation/people defends itself). I really hope that Israel is given a good political smack in the face for this.

It is one ship left that was delayed earlier that is still heading toward Gaza. It will be interesting to see what happens with it.
US always put in their veto in the UN in case someone tries some restrictions against Israel yeah. I wonder where the line goes for them to not hand in a veto.

As long as the American public/media ignores what's going on for long enough, the U.S. can put in a veto. It's only until the public starts demanding stuff and gets really upset will the government do anything.
